With many people getting active on their feet to meet fitness goals this time of year, there is a chance that foot pain may hinder progress. Preventative measures taken before injury occurs and knowing when to consult a podiatrist for foot pain can reduce the probability of a foot problem becoming a long term condition. This is also a good time, before sandal season arrives, to start treatment for skin and nail disorders which may take months of therapy to show improvement.
